RESEARCH

My general fields of interest are computerized chemistry and biological chemistry:

• NMR spectrum prediction and spectral analysis (PERCH software, see http://www.perchsolutions.com); 4D molecular modeling
• Molecular flexibility and motions in biomolecular function, recognition and molecular regulation
• Design of novel steroid and peptide analogs, with a special emphasis on conformational flexibility
• Hg/Se interactions and lipid peroxidation
• Applications of NMR in biological chemistry: quantitative NMR (qNMR) & NMR metabo*ics

My ultimate dream is to learn to understand better how The Nature works. Chemistry is not a bad way to do it but I also keep up my instincts by roaming in forests and lakes of Finland and arctics in northern Norway and Canada.
