Council for Evaluation and Development of Research

The council is in responsible to develop and evaluate the research activities in the University of Kuopio.

The council has extended meetings on March, May and November, when curricula of the postgraduate studies are under evaluation. Officers of the faculties responsible for postgraduate studies can participate to these extended meetings.

• In March: curricula of general postgraduate studies are evaluated
• In May: curricula of topic-specific postgraduate and Graduate Schools are evaluated
• In November: budgets of the general postgraduate studies are evaluated

Research Evaluation

Research activities of the University of Kuopio are under evaluation every 6th-7th year. The University take advantage of the results of the evaluations to enhance all its operations.
