Co-Operation
We have doctoral
students from the Finnish Agrifood Research, and we have had earlier from
the Equine Information Centre and Forest Research Institute, thus the
co-work is very close.
We are in close cowork with
other research units in our own university and those situating in the
same campus area, including National Institute for Health and Welfare
(THL), Division of Environmental Health and Food Safety
Authority, Finnish Institute of Occupational Health, Kuopio Regional
Office, Geological Survey of
Finland and Savonia
Polytechnics. We have also common research projects with National Institute for
Health and Welfare (THL), Finnish
Agrifood Research, Savonia Polytechnics, Finnish Environmental Institute and Finnish Game and Fisheries Research Institute. Especially Finnish Agrifood Research North-Savo
Research Station, Equine Information Centre and other Finnish
Universities belong to our permanent co-workers. Also wastewater
treatment plants, especially, that in Kuopio, as well as wastewater
treatment product companies, such as Kemira and Pomiltek, have worked
with us.
The foreign co-workers have
been universities such as Hohenheim University (Germany), Budapest
University (Hungary), University of Cincinnati (USA), Bangladesh
Technical University, Peradanian University (Sri Lanka), Lund University
(Sweden), Fudan University (Shanghai) and Milan University (Italy).
