Services

Kuopio University Library is an academic library specializing in health and natural and social sciences. The Library is open to all and the networked resources can also be used without charges within the University and Kuopio University Hospital.

The basic values of the Kuopio University Library are open access to information and equal customer care. We develop our services continuously and co-operate actively with other departments in Kuopio University and Kuopio University Hospital. We also participate in many projects on the development of the library and information services.   

The library supports research, teaching and learning both in Kuopio University and in Kuopio University Hospital by acquiring and managing information and providing a learning environment.

Some of the library services are chargeable. Please do not hesitate to ask for more information at the reference desk.
