Databases
Kuopio University Library and Kuopio University Hospital Medical Library have
acquired several different online databases in the medical, biological and social sciences. The databases
contain
mainly literature references or complete publications, and facts such as statistics.
Most databases can be used only on the Kuopio University and the
Kuopio University Hospital networks. All library customers may use
databases inside library premises. Database searching is free of
charge.
Please use the following links or
Nelli portal to access databases. You may also use databases
remotely from e.g. your home computer. If you try to access
databases from outside the University of Kuopio or Kuopio University
Hospital networks, you are automatically asked to log in to remote
access. Please log in to remote access with your Hytti or Messi
username and password. There is also a separate
remote access page available. Some databases such as
Josku and
PubMed are freely accessible to all.
