INDEHELA is a long-term research programme on
Informatics Development for Health in Africa. The initiative
started as research partnership between the University of Kuopio, Finland, and
the Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria, in 1989. The Academy of Finland funded
the Finnish-Nigerian INDEHELA-Methods project in 1998-2001 as well as
the INDEHELA-Context pre-study in 2003 and full study in
2004-2007.
