International Cooperation
The department has good relationships with Nordic countries, with several
European countries and with the United States, Canada and Baltic countries.
Further strengthening of international cooperation especially in the fields of
teaching and research is a major target in the future. There are several
programmes operating in the field of teaching and learning:
- Nordplus is a programme established between Nordic countries to facilitate
student and teacher exhange. It has been implemented since 1990 with the
Universities of Gothenburg, Oslo and Stockholm.
- Socrates programme has opened up the connections with eight European
universities by student a as a teacher exhange. The universities are as
follows:
