Graduate School in Pharmaceutical ResearchGSPR-logo

The Graduate School in Pharmaceutical Research is a national graduate school founded in collaboration with the University of Eastern Finland (Kuopio campus) and the University of Helsinki. The Graduate School started at the beginning of 1998. The graduate school is a part of the FinPharmaNet network of Graduate Schools.

During 2007-2009 the Graduate School is coordinated by the University of Eastern Finland and the Director is Paavo Honkakoski, Professor in Biopharmacy and the Vice Director is Jari Yli-Kauhaluoma, Professor in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. The Coordinator is PhD Ilkka Reenilä. Chief of Student Affairs Riitta Koistinen acts as focal point in Kuopio.

The Graduate School in Pharmaceutical Research offers a multi-scientific and well organized doctoral education in pharmaceutical research. The Graduate school includes several research groups and is a part of national and international pharmaceutical research network including connections with pharmaceutical companies.
