The HELINA-L is an electronic bulletin board, or an e-mail distribution list, concentrating on the use of informatics (computers and communications) to support healthcare in Africa. The list is moderated in order to ensure that the volume, contents and technical format are fit to subscribers who may rely on expensive low-capacity facilities to receive the messages.
